This summer many of our current and alumni CPCS students ministered to foster children who have experienced abuse and neglect at Royal Family Kids’ Camp. Our students served as counselors, staff assistants, photographers, and in behind the scenes roles. They spent five days sharing the love that has transformed their hearts and minds with hurting children and brought hope and joy to the campers. Many of the volunteers shared that they were blessed and changed themselves as they ministered to these campers. Royal Family Kids’ Camp is a ministry sponsored by Cedar Park Church. CPCS teachers Scott and Carolyn Winter direct this ministry and several CPCS teachers and high school principal Garron Smith served as counselors. Many thanks to all who contributed to the school’s coin drive to help send these foster children to camp.
